Nuhu Salifu is a forty-two (42) year-old Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana with over 17 years experience in Accounting, Finance & Taxation.
Nuhu is a product of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where he pursued an MSc in Accounting and Finance (pending graduation).
He also graduated with a B.Sc. Accounting (2nd Class Upper Honors) from the University of Education Winneba-Kumasi campus (2008 to 2010).
Before entering the University of Education, Nuhu had graduated with an HND in Accounting (2nd Class Upper Honors) from the Tamale Polytechnic (2000 to 2003). He is also a product of Wa Senior High School (1997 to 1999) and Jindabo Junior High School (1994 to 1996)
He worked with Nandom Rural Bank Limited as an Assistant Accountant from June 2006 to March 2008 after his national service with the Wa Regional Hospital as an Accountant Trainee.
Nuhu also worked with Boateng and Darko Depot Contractors Limited as an Accounts Officer from April 2008 to February 2010. Before joining Quick Credit and Investment Microcredit Limited, Nuhu worked with Akate Farms & Trading Company Limited as an Accountant from September 2010 to December 2017.
Nuhu joined the company in 2018 as a Finance and Administrative Manager and has been the Head of Finance and Administration for the past five years.
Nuhu has expertise in; designing and implementing accounting systems, preparing financial statements and annual budgets, maintaining efficient budgetary control systems, instituting internal control procedures and efficient credit control mechanisms, working capital management, and capital budgeting among others. Nuhu has good working knowledge in QuickBooks, Proviso (Accounting Software), and Microsoft Office Suite.
He is a Ghanaian, married, and has since been blessed with four children.
Nuhu’s main hobbies include reading and cycling.
